Dust of your helmets and start stretching! Next week is BOTH National Bike to Work Week and National Women's Health Week! Across the country, people are planning their routes and gearing up. Many businesses are offering deals like free coffee or discounted breakfast to participants. Check for bike routes and deals in your area!
Of course, not everyone has the option to bike to work. If you commute a very long distance or if, for any other reason, you cannot participate, try using this week to set goals you can accomplish. Ride your bike or walk to the store. Instead of driving your car for longer distances, take the bus. Just walking to and from the bus stop can be a start. Who knows? You may decide you like the rush you get from bicycling or walking instead of driving.
